VORIXN Referral Program Terms

These VORIXN Referral Program Terms apply to the VORIXN Customer Referral Program operated by VORIXN.com.
By participating in the Referral Program, sharing a referral link or code, earning referral rewards, or redeeming referral rewards, you agree to these terms.
1. Program Overview
The VORIXN Customer Referral Program allows eligible VORIXN customers to share a referral link or referral code with others.
When a customer places a qualifying order through a valid referral link or code, the referred customer may receive a discount, and the referrer may earn VORIXN referral rewards.
This is not a cash commission program. Referral rewards are promotional rewards only and may only be redeemed for VORIXN.com promotional discount codes.
2. Eligibility
The Referral Program is intended for VORIXN customers who have completed at least one valid order on VORIXN.com.
Participants and referred customers must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, and must be legally permitted to purchase, own, and use folding knives under their local laws.
VORIXN may review, approve, reject, suspend, or remove any referral account at its discretion, especially in cases involving fraud, abuse, self-referrals, suspicious activity, or violation of these terms.
3. Referred Customer Discount
A customer who shops through a valid VORIXN referral link or referral code may receive 10% off eligible product purchases.
The discount applies to eligible product amounts only and does not apply to shipping, taxes, refunded amounts, gift cards, or other non-product fees.
Unless otherwise stated by VORIXN, referral discounts may not be combined with other discounts or promotions.
The referred customer does not have to be a first-time customer. Any qualifying order placed through a valid referral link or code may be eligible.
4. Referrer Rewards
For each qualifying referred order, the referrer may earn VORIXN referral rewards equal to 10% of the eligible product amount of the referred order.
Eligible product amount excludes shipping, taxes, refunded amounts, chargebacks, gift cards, discounts, and other non-product fees.
Referral rewards are not cash, gift cards, prepaid cards, stored-value products, cash balances, or cash equivalents. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
5. Qualifying Orders
A referred order may qualify for referral rewards only if:
- The order is placed through a valid VORIXN referral link or referral code;
- The order is successfully paid;
- The order remains free from cancellation, return, refund, chargeback, fraud risk, self-referral, or other abuse for 45 calendar days from the order date;
- The order does not violate VORIXN's policies, platform rules, or applicable laws.
VORIXN may cancel, withhold, adjust, or deny referral rewards related to canceled, refunded, returned, charged back, fraudulent, suspicious, self-referred, or abusive orders.
6. Reward Review and Payment
Referral rewards are not issued immediately after an order is placed.
VORIXN will review referral rewards after 45 calendar days from the order date. If the referred order remains eligible, VORIXN may approve and pay the referral reward through the referral system.
Once the reward is paid, the referrer may receive an email with a “Redeem my reward” button.
7. Reward Redemption
After referral rewards are paid, the referrer may access the reward page through the “Redeem my reward” button in the reward email.
On the reward page, the referrer can view the available reward balance and choose the amount they wish to redeem within the available balance.
The referrer may redeem part of the available balance or the full available balance. Each redemption generates a VORIXN.com promotional discount code.
Each generated discount code can only be used once.
Once a reward amount is redeemed into a discount code, that amount is immediately deducted from the referrer's available reward balance. Generated discount codes generally cannot be cancelled, reversed, restored to the reward balance, transferred, or exchanged for cash.
8. Inactive Referral Accounts
If a referral account has no new referral reward, reward payout, or reward redemption activity for 12 consecutive months, VORIXN may treat the account as inactive.
Where reasonably practicable, VORIXN may contact the referrer and provide a final opportunity to redeem available rewards.
If no action is taken, VORIXN may remove the referral account where technically available. Any unredeemed referral reward balance may be forfeited after the account is removed.
Already generated discount codes may remain subject to their original restrictions, but VORIXN reserves the right to disable, cancel, or restrict discount codes in cases of fraud, abuse, program termination, store closure, system error, or violation of these terms.
9. Disclosure Requirement
If you share your VORIXN referral link or code publicly, including on social media, video platforms, blogs, forums, websites, groups, or other public channels, you must clearly disclose that you may earn VORIXN rewards from qualifying purchases.
Example disclosure:
“I may earn VORIXN rewards if you purchase through my referral link or code.”
The disclosure should be clear, easy to notice, and placed near the referral link, referral code, or product recommendation.
If you share your referral link or code privately, such as by direct message, email, or text message, we also recommend giving a simple disclosure if the recipient may not know that you can earn rewards.
10. Prohibited Conduct
The following activities are prohibited:
- Using your own referral link or code to place orders for yourself;
- Creating fake accounts, duplicate accounts, or artificial referrals;
- Using multiple emails, IP addresses, shipping addresses, or identities to manipulate the program;
- Posting false, misleading, exaggerated, or unlawful claims about VORIXN products;
- Violating platform rules, advertising rules, knife-related laws, or other applicable laws;
- Selling, transferring, or publicly reselling referral rewards or generated discount codes;
- Using bots, bulk registration tools, spam, or automated systems to abuse the program;
- Any attempt to manipulate, exploit, or bypass the Referral Program rules.
VORIXN may cancel rewards, remove referral accounts, disable referral links, restrict discount codes, or take other appropriate action in cases of prohibited conduct.
11. Taxes
Referral rewards, promotional discount codes, or other benefits received through the Referral Program may be considered taxable depending on your location and personal circumstances.
Participants are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes. VORIXN does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice.
12. Privacy and Data Use
VORIXN may collect and use information related to the Referral Program, including your name, email address, referral link, referral code, referral activity, order attribution data, reward records, redemption records, and fraud-prevention signals.
This information may be used to operate the Referral Program, verify eligibility, track qualifying orders, issue rewards, prevent abuse, and maintain necessary business and compliance records.
For privacy reasons, VORIXN does not share the referred customer's full personal information with the referrer.
13. Program Changes, Suspension, or Termination
VORIXN may modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program to the extent permitted by law.
VORIXN may stop issuing new referral rewards, change reward rules, adjust program settings, disable referral links, or end the program if necessary for business, technical, legal, platform, payment, logistics, compliance, or other operational reasons.
Where reasonably practicable, VORIXN will provide notice through its website, email, referral page, or other reasonable means.
14. Store Closure or Inability to Operate
If circumstances beyond VORIXN's reasonable control prevent VORIXN.com, checkout, payment services, logistics, Shopify, UpPromote, related applications, supply chain, or other essential operating systems from functioning normally, or if legal, regulatory, platform, technical, cybersecurity, payment, logistics, supply, force majeure, or other business reasons prevent VORIXN from continuing to operate the online store or the Referral Program, VORIXN may immediately suspend or terminate the Referral Program and stop issuing new referral rewards.
Where technically and commercially practicable, VORIXN will use reasonable efforts to notify participants and may provide a reasonable final redemption or usage opportunity.
However, if VORIXN.com, checkout, payment systems, fulfillment capability, or related services are no longer available or functioning normally, referral reward points, promotional discount codes, or other referral benefits may become impossible to redeem or use. In such cases, unredeemed referral reward balances, unused promotional discount codes, or other referral benefits may expire or be cancelled and will generally not be paid out in cash, transferred, extended, or reissued, unless required by applicable law.
